The importance of teaching:


To teach, learn and study God’s Words helps us put our thoughts in order and in the right perspective.

It’s a great thing to think deeply about our lives, but only with God’s help. And when the motive is to get better at walking by the spirit. It’s a wonderful thing to freely pay attention to what God works in our hearts and get the results of being obedient.

By our freedom of will, we continue to live spiritual things like: love, peace and joy.

“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”    Romans 10:14 and 15

By sharing about the things of God we learn to trust more and more. We learn to forgive ourselves and others under all circumstances; we learn to give without expecting anything in return. And many other loving and beneficial things.

We improve our spiritual walk day by day, because we love God, not because of our good works, like if we needed to please the one True God with our own efforts.

He, God made us lovely and very pleasant unto Him, by the complete works of Jesus Christ.

Now, we are God’s little children, the True Beloved of God. So, we just need to know what are the works that the Father prepared for us to do. Walking and talking with Him about everything pertinent to your life is one of them. Transmitting to others so that they know God and His Son is one more.

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” Daniel 12:3

In Ephesians, there’s much more for us.

The fleshly good works of men do not give the glory to God and He does not want them or need them. The Father is pleased when His sons walk in spirit and in truth.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2: 8-10
